We ask that you vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. We ask our seminar guests to check out by 9:30 a.m. at the latest. Late check-outs may be accommodated depending on availability and are subject to an additional charge.
You can leave your luggage at the hotel before checking into your room on arrival or after check-out on the day of departure.
The wellness facility can be used by our hotel guests before check-in from 13:30 and after check-out until 13:00. Register at the hotel reception.
Yes. At the Belvédère Strandhotel, outdoor parking spaces and an indoor parking garage are available. Upon request, we’d be happy to park your vehicle for you.
For hotel guests, parking fees are CHF 10.00 per night. Parking is free starting on the fourth night.
Day visitors pay a flat fee of CHF 5.00 per day to use the parking lots.
Yes, the Belvédère Strandhotel in Spiez has charging stations for electric cars. For fast and efficient charging of electric vehicles, there are two “Zaptec Pro 22kW with Type 2 socket” charging stations available in the parking garage.
The Belvédère Strandhotel is located at Schachenstrasse 39 in 3700 Spiez. From Bern, take the A6 toward Thun and Spiez.
The Belvédère Strandhotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Spiez train station. Please note that Spiez is located on a hillside, and the route between the train station and the hotel includes some inclines. We therefore recommend taking a taxi or our hotel shuttle, especially if you have luggage.
If you book directly with us, we 'll be happy to pick you up for free at the Spiez train station with our hotel shuttle, provided you make a reservation in advance. The shared shuttle runs hourly between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
No. In the main building, you can choose from rooms with a view of Lake Thun as well as rooms facing the Alps. The lakefront rooms in the terraced section of the building all face the lake. Depending on the room, the view of Lake Thun may be partially obstructed.

No. Not all rooms at the Belvédère Strandhotel have air conditioning. The Lakeside Economy Double Room category is not air-conditioned. All other room categories have air conditioning.

The Belvédère Strandhotel features 56 stylishly furnished rooms. They are located in the historic main building as well as in the terraced wing housing the lakefront rooms.
We serve breakfast from 07:00 - 10:30 in the restaurant or on the terrace in fine weather.
Breakfast is charged in addition to the room rate, unless you have already booked it at the time of booking.
Yes, we will be happy to serve you breakfast in your room. Please let us know at reception by 22:00 the evening before. We charge a surcharge of CHF 10.00 for room service.

Yes, your dog may stay in the room alone. In this case, please hang the wooden sign "Psst..." side on the hotel door - this way our team will know and we will not enter the room. If you prefer, you can of course also inform the reception team. We recommend that you only leave dogs alone if they are used to it.

Yes. Sports history has been a part of the Belvédère Strandhotel for many years. During the 1954 World Cup, the German national soccer team stayed with us. The “Spirit of Spiez” that emerged at that time remains associated with our hotel to this day.
